George and this team, specifically Mark & Kent, did a great job. Very professional, diligent and skillful, they come very highly recommended.

Led by George, the guys did an incredible job giving our flat a much-needed facelift. From the day I contacted George till the day of the work finished, our experience was nothing less than perfect. George is responsive, communicative and honest; he will tell you if something is not worth doing or if some things might roll into the last day. We couldn’t find a particular shade so a door wasn’t done but George said he would come and paint it for free if ever we found the colour! The quality of work is flawless, we couldn’t be happier! They sanded walls right down to the plaster and applied good quality paint. The ceiling, radiators, woodwork, everything is perfectly painted. They left the flat neat and tidy each evening and our furniture and carpet looked untouched. Not a drop of paint where it shouldn’t be! I cannot recommend this company enough. Contact George and get him on your next project, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience working with George and his team. Arrived on time each morning. Beautiful, meticulous painting work and preparation. Tidy and clean each day. Very accommodating to fit in with changes around schedule. George arrived daily to project manage and check no concerns. Highly recommend.

If I could I would award 6 stars. This was not a straightforward decorating job. The house had been replumbed and rewired and all rooms needed stripping back and making good, everything needed redecorating and to a tight timescale. Not only that but they needed to fit in with all rooms having flooring layed at the same time. They started @ 7:30 the next day with a team of four and worked through the weekend to get as much done before the flooring started. Despite working to a fixed price, all workmen were conscientious and addressed the problems discovered during prep. They finished ahead of schedule allowing us to move in earlier than expected. It seemed a little on the expensive side at the beginning but was well worth it. They more than delivered on what they committed to

George, is very skilled and knowledgeable with his trade. He gave us superb, clear and honest advice. He has great vision and he generously shared it with us. DEFINITELY recommend him and his team!!!

George leads a friendly and professional team who attended to my small renovation. They advised me on the best products to use and undercoats and painted woodwork, painted walls and sanded and painted newly installed plaster detail on the ceiling. They quoted fairly and the work is of an excellent standard. I would highly recommend them for any decorating work as they care for the project as if it’s their own.

The guys were professional, approachable and did a fantastic job. The finished result is great, and we would definitely highly recommend them for future decorating works.

They redecorated our kitchen, living room, WC & hallway upstairs & down. The finish is excellent, and they were more than happy to accommodate a last-minute colour change! Excellent job painting my kitchen. Punctual, polite and tidy

George and his team did our staircases last year and this week we had them back to do all the hallways and landings. The job is FANTASTIC and I have (and will) recommend them to anyone that needs any decorating done. I could have done the job myself but would have taken weeks of my spare time to achieve what they did in only 2 days….. really they are worth the money to get the team in. They protect your house, work all day and clean up at the end of everyday (you wouldn’t think they had been there, no mess whatsoever) George is a true gent and not out to make money off you. If you don’t need something done he will tell you (we were going to have the ceilings done but he said they didn’t need doing and we wouldn’t notice the difference). Overall completely satisfied and will get them back whenever we need anything else done

Prompt response. Started the work on date agreed. Finished within the agreed timeline. Painted inside doors, bathroom and staircase. A little more expensive than the other quotes I received but worth the extra spend for the good quality of work. Very happy and would use them again

We came across Hawkes when in the need to renovate our bathroom which had become a problem area in our property as well as our hallway. Hawkes was not the first company we contacted but they soon left an impression that will put them to the top our list here on out. We were greeted very politely and punctually during the initial quote process where George (MD) walked through the property and instantly put our mind to ease with his attitude and evident experience working in these spaces. We were so impressed that we asked Hawkes to return to re-qoute additional works which we later took on. George was brilliant in understanding our brief and the aesthetic we wanted. During the process, George and his team were punctual, productive and clean. There is an evident pride in their workmanship with consistent contact kept throughout. A refreshing aspect was the desire to be notified of our finds and snags, something not common amongst trade. We can’t recommend Hawkes enough

George and everyone at Hawke’s decor was polite and responsive from the first interaction. They were free with the advice and managed to get our new house entirely re-decorated in a few weeks even in Mid December. They made reccomendations along the way but were also more than happy to defer to any of our preferences. Would strongly reccomend Hawke’s to anyone looking for a top quality decorating firm and will be using them again when the need arises

Hawkes decor were a pleasure to have in my property, they were excellent from start to finish, it was a very tight time schedule and it was done the day before I moved back in. Andy, george, and del made sure that they carried the work out to a very high standard. There were extras that was also added on and was charged no extra as they rest assured me that it could still be completed in the time frame. I have contacted George on such a short notice as our agreed contractor backed up last minute. He took a rabbit out of hat and finished painting entire house in few days with a big team starting around 06.30 in the morning. He never said no to any adhoc requests and he was always very accommodating. His work quality and ethic is unforeseen. His rates were higher than average but was worth the outcome. I definitely recommend his company.

Hawkes decor were very efficient, Andrew and Terry were excellent from start to finish. When they initially started we had Andy to be down to decorate three bedrooms as we see progression we asked them to do the remainder of our property they had many years in the decorating trade and had every bit of knowledge in regards to colour scheming. Terry & Andy have painted my entire flat and they were simply outstanding. The flow of communication prior and during the project was effortless. The work was done in brilliantly with an eye to details and within the agreed timescales. They’ve cut and filled cracks in my walls and even helped me remove a kitchen cabinet and sort out the wall behind it.
